Last Light is a horror movie companion from CGHM Associates LLC. It grew out of a simple October ritual: choosing a horror movie each night on the way to Halloween.
The app brings together discovery, private watch histories, personal rankings, flexible calendars, and optional private watch groups called Covens. It is currently a web preview; iOS and Android editions are in development.
Where the information comes from
The broad catalog draws on Wikidata under CC0. Selected supplemental records and connected movie imagery, descriptions, and viewing offers are provided by TMDB. Regional viewing offers are attributed to JustWatch. Individual Wikimedia Commons images carry their source and license in the app.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. The preview currently uses a noncommercial developer connection. Commercial data licensing is pending before paid launch.
Who ranks the films?
The opening editorial lists and guides were developed with AI assistance for Last Light. They are opinionated starting points, open to revision. They are not copied critic charts or a claim of consensus. Audience scores, member ballots, and your private ratings stay separate. Unknown content notes and dimensions stay unknown.
